Summer is Almost Here!

I can't believe that it's almost Time sure has flown! We had a wonderful Easter Sunrise Service at 31st Street Park in Virginia Beach. Despite the 35 degree temperature and the wind we still had over 100 people celebrating the resurrected Christ! Then it was rush to our home church at VBCC to do 2 rocking services there. Our ministry has been involved in the worship team there for a long time and it keeps getting better!

There are sooooo many people to thank for helping with the Sunrise Service. "Kneel Before you Knock" was a good theme.

I'll do my best to remember and if I don't remember you I do apologize. Of course we need to thank Tom Lane and Charles McCallister for the many things they do. From setting up to tearing down to running sound to driving the equipment to and fro they are really the backbone of every event. Danya Horton is the planning coordinator of all there is! Helping with the details and getting the ushers informed and then going to VBCC to direct services there. Dwight and Susan Handforth for coordinating the ushers and being available themselves. Pam Parker, Ken and Peg Johnson for being and helping with the prayer counselors. Eric Hansen and his girls for all of the prayer and willingness to support. To the Susan Hall and the other singers who helped with worship! I only wish I remembered everyone's name there. It's most important that we thank out families for putting up with all of the scheduling and rehearsal time away from them. Of course it should go without saying that we thank God for sacrificing His son for the sake of all humanity! Praise be to Jesus who has risen from the dead and sits at the right hand of God!

We'll be doing 3 "Church at the Beaches" events this year and also returning to our favorite Chesapeake venue Hickory United Methodist. This is the oldest church in the city of Chesapeake! we have been privileged to perform there for a variety of events including their 205th birthday!

We are truly honored and humbled by the support and participation that you all offer and the way that we have been blessed by this ministry. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we decipher what the next stage is for Lost Then Found.
